About Me

I am a visually-driven people person. Since completing a degree in Art History, my career has spanned marketing, communications, arts management, and curation. Through this work, I have built a unique understanding of how individuals, organizations, and groups of people operate and thrive. No matter what I’m doing, building community is my priority, and this work is always informed by the aesthetic - both visual and conceptual. Born and raised by immigrant parents in Minneapolis, MN, I am now a UX Designer based in New York City.

UX Design is a singular combination of my passions in visual design, human-centered strategy, and connection-building. As a Communications Director at Juxtaposition Arts, I collaboratively developed and maintained an organizational brand through authenticity; as a curator of visual and written arts I prioritize meaningful expression and self-liberation in community. I bring the skillset built in my wide range of experience to my work as a UX Designer to advance equity and accessibility in technology.

Outside of UX design, I recently co-founded an artist collective called Burn Something Collective. Burn Something is an experimental space at the intersection of curation, publishing, and peer-to-peer mentorship working to support the agency and development of Black and POCI femme, nonbinary, and trans artists, writers, and curators. You can check out some of our work at burnsomething.org. When I’m not designing human-centered experiences, I like taking care of my plants, watching Parks & Recreation, and spending time with loved ones.
